Sormo E'Nath

"Sormo E'nath was the greatest Wickan warlock. He was said to hold eleven souls. He was lost during the Chain of Dogs march.
In his previous life, he lived to be an old man until he was captured and spiked to a wall by the Malazans. It was said that it took eleven days for him to die and that each day a crow came until his remains were gone. He was subsequently reborn and was said to be about ten years old at the time he served under Coltaine.
He served under Coltaine till his death."

While reading "Malazan book of the fallen" written by Steven Erikson, I always try to imagine the characters. And this is how I imagined Sormo E'nath. I know it might not fit to the descriptions, but I decided to paint him as I felt, without reading any characteristic. I'm very happy with the outcome. And I bet it's not the last painting based on MBotF. This book is flawless. You definetly should read it!
